What condition wheels are usually in

What the process involves

How to tell whether a wheel can be repaired

What cannot be repaired cosmetically is structural damage. If a wheel is bent, cracked, buckled, or if it is losing air at the bead, that is a safety issue, not a finish issue, and it needs replacing. What wheel repair does not fix
It does not straighten bent rims, weld cracks, or make a structurally compromised wheel roadworthy. It is not a tyre service. It will not change a wheel's colour or finish type into something else, and it does not repair damage to the brake components behind the wheel.

Can every kerbed wheel be repaired?
Cosmetic scraping and gouging on the outer lip usually can be. Wheels that are bent, cracked, buckled or leaking at the bead cannot be safely repaired cosmetically and should be replaced.
